Premiered on CWCC’s Christmas concert; December 1981.

Notes: This is a Christmas piece. After a choral introduction, Mary since a lullaby and then moves into a description of the scene around her. in a contrasting middle section, Mary sings over the choir of her awe at the events that have taken place. The piece ends with the choir singing Mary’s lullaby while Mary sings a descant.
